Deshadan Mountain Resorts welcomes you to a new high in holidaying. Perched on the highest resort friendly peak in Munnar, Deshadan Mountain Resort stands closer to the clouds than to the earth. It is situated at 5,500 feet above sea level. Munnar town is just 4 Kms away, but the rustic ambience, virgin greenery and misty surrounding make the rest of the world seem far away.

Being Kerala's highest Resort it is banked by miles and miles of tea Plantations to one side and a huge mountain face standing sentry on the other side. Deshadan Mountain Resort is graced by graceful soft falling mists that waft in and out filling the cool, fresh air with a tranquil mysticism. The ambiance of the property is very elegant.

The well-appointed cottages overlook picture postcard sceneries. While luxurious amenities pamper you inside the resort, virgin landscape behold your eyes outside. Inside or outside the cottage, there is an incredible variety of activities you can indulge in. But whatever you do at Deshadan Mountain Resort, you will go back rejuvenated. And come back for more; over and over again.

We have 4 well appointed cottages with living room, two bedrooms, attached bathrooms and individual balconies. Rooms are done up in wooden furniture, wooden false ceiling, and beautiful vitrified tiles. There are 8 double rooms which are also furnished in the same style, each with a large private balcony. The guests will have a spectacular view of the valley below from this vantage point.

We also have a multi cuisine restaurant, a conference hall which can accommodate up to 30 persons, a recreation center and a campfire area. The recreation hall comes with facilities to play Hand Football, Dart, Carom, Chess.......

Activities like Trekking, Camp-fire, Karaoke, in house movies, and much more are possible.

DVDs and movies are provided in the rooms on request. The staff are professional and friendly and makes every visitor to this resort a desire to make a renewed exercise annually.

By Air Near by airports are at Kochi (130 kms) and Madurai (142 kms). By Rail Nearest railway stations are at Kochi and Kottayam. By Road Munnar is well connected by a well developed network of road transport. Munnar is accessible by road from most of the towns in Kerala. It can also be reached from Madurai and Coimbatore.
